Ben is a highly qualified Sports Rehabilitation Specialist. His expertises lie in musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation along with deep tissue sports massage. He is especially passionate about functional strength and movement which is why he is a great fit here at Starks Fitness.

Richard has 30 years of experience in Physiotherapy after qualifying in 1995 and also completing a masters in manipulative physiotherapy in Perth, Western Australia.
Since his training Richard has worked in many different areas including Professional Cricket at Essex Cricket Club, worked with many elite athletes in several different sports from Golf to Cycling. He has special interest is Shoulder Injuries and founded the Bristol Shoulder Clinic as well as currently becoming an expert in Cranial-Sacral Therapy.
Richard is a keen sportsman himself, previously playing Rugby for Bristol as well as a keen golfer and tennis player.Book an appointment
Chris is a fully qualified Sports Rehabilitator who specialises in lower limb injuries and movement re-education. He is an expert in biomechanical and functional movement analysis, along with rehabilitation and sports massage. Having worked with many international and national athletes over the years he looks forward to working with you at Starks no matter what your athletic level is.
He is also a guest lecturer at UWE and assists with movement re-education courses in the UK. His sporting background is in rugby and running but also represented the county at cricket.Book an appointment
Jonathan graduated from the University of the West of England in 2013 with a BSc in physiotherapy. He initially gained valuable experience as a pitch side and rehab physiotherapist with university and amateur rugby teams.
Jonathan then went on to work within the NHS to complete his rotational placements across a broad range of specialties. During this time he managed an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) and lower limb rehab programme and was the exercise promotion champion at Gloucester Royal Hospital.
Jonathan has treated and worked with a wide range of sports professionals, from GB and sponsored professional climbers, to world class squash players. He is also involved with screening international athletes and regularly works pitch side for football, rugby and American football teams.
When he’s not practicing physiotherapy, Jonathan can be found competing in ultra marathons or scaling mountain ranges in the Alps and Himalayas. He holds the summer mountain leader and outdoor climbing qualifications and has instructed in many sport disciplines, from mountain leading, climbing and kayaking, to spinning, gym instructing and archery.Book an appointment
