[NEW] Calisthenics Workshop
Our workshops are open to mixed ability as we can cater for the complete beginner through to the more advanced individual.
The word Calisthenics comes from the greek language where “Kalos” has a meaning of beautiful and “sthenos” means strength. Very different to your generic weight training you will use minimal equipment utilising your bodyweight to increase your strength, mobility and body awareness.
The 3 hour workshops consists of 4 components;– Movement Flowbuild useable mobility using our tried and tested movement sequences.– Handstandsfrom beginner through to advanced, learn the progressions involved to evolve your hand balancing skills and take it to the next level.– Ring Flowsa great tool to build a combination of strength and flexibility. We coach the progressions and regressions for every movement to make it accessible for everyone– Cali Conditioningutilising a variety of bodyweight exercises that will work you hard and condition the essential accessory exercises to help progress with the main skill work
